RACE DAYS

Flag Marshals  

Every competitor must flag marshal or in the case of juniors provide an adult to marshal,

if you enter two bikes you must provide additional marshal to cover the second session otherwise only one bike will be accepted.

With separate track for Club MX and Mini Funday The Complex will be open Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday for social riding except Saturday 27th October

Note Round 3:- is a split round Seniors on 6th May and Juniors on 13th May,

Race classes and point score will be the same as other rounds but races will   

be longer and closer together.

Licenced Officials:- with the extended work load, the Club needs to increased 

its pool of licenced official, would those prepared to work towards level 1, 

or those with level 1 and need track time for experience and upgrade

Classes for Racing

SENIOR CLASSES

   1.    Vets 35 - 39 years  All Powers

   2.    Vets 30 - 34 years  All Powers

   3.    Pro Lites (A&B Grade)

   4.    Clubman Lites (150cc 2 Stroke + 250cc 4 Stroke)   

   5.    Pro Open  (A&B Grade)

   6.    Clubman Open (250cc 2 Stroke + 450cc 4 Stroke)

   7.    Ladies All Powers

   8.    Vets 40 All Powers

   9.    Vets 45 + All Powers

 
JUNIOR CLASSES

   1.    4yr  to under 9yr  50cc Auto Demo Class

   2.    7yr to under 9yrs  50cc Auto Class

   3.    7yr - under 10yr  65cc (7, 8 and 9 year olds)

   4.    10yr - under 12yr  65cc (10 and 11 year olds)

   5.     9yr - under 12yr  85cc (9, 10 and 11 year olds) standard wheel only

   6.    12yr - under 14yr  85cc (12 and 13 year olds)  standard and Big wheel

   7.    14yr - under 16yr  85cc (14 and 15 year olds) standard and Big wheel

   8.    13yr - under 16yr Junior lites  (13, 14 and 15 year olds)

 

If there are insufficient entries in a class, classes may be combined.  If combining of classes occurs, separate point scores will still be recorded. 

Riders must compete in a minimum of four rounds of the Club Competition to qualify for a trophy.  Trophies will be awarded in all classes from 1st - 5th place 

All 7 point score rounds to count for cumulative total also must compete in minimum 4 rounds to qualify for a trophy. This applies to both Club Point score and Amcross series.

You must be a Macarthur club member and hold a motorcycling Australia competition license to take part in a club race meeting.

 The club will only issue a one day competition license if you have a completed MNSW theory test and you have successfully completed a riding test conducted by an authorized  M.A. official.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO A TEST ON  THE MORNING OF A RACE DAY.

RIDING FEES ON RACE DAYS

Senior $40.00

Junior $35.00 per bike.

Additional cost for more than one bike, $20.00 per bike

One event licenses

$60.00, only issued on day if full documentation and rider testing has been completed, we recommend members obtain new licenses prior to start of Club competition season. 

Main tack is Shortened for riders taking part in 50cc

 1.   All competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian to sign them on, this does apply to Senior riders as well as Juniors. 

 2.   All competitors must act as a FLAG MARSHAL for one session of the race meeting or nominate someone to flag on their behalf. Typically the parent of a junior rider will carry out flag marshal duties for their child.  FLAG MARSHALS MUST BE  AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE AND MUST ATTEND  THE RIDERS AND FLAG MARSHALS BRIEFING WHICH IS HELD AT EVERY RACE MEETING. The race day program allows for a rider to act as flag marshal for  one session without missing any races.

Please note a  flag marshal roster system will be in operation at our club points score days

 3.  YOU MUST SIGN ON AND HAVE YOUR MOTORCYCLE  AND HELMET PASS INSPECTION AT SCRUTINEERING. 

 4.   RACE DAY PROGRAM       

6.30 a.m.     Sign on and scrutineering open 

8.00 a.m.     Sign on and scrutineering CLOSED

8.15.a.m.     Riders and Flag Marshals briefing   

8.20 a.m.     Flag Marshals for first session to take positions 

8.30 a.m.     Practice starts

 5.     CLUB COMPETITION IS HELD  UNDER A PERMIT ISSUED BY MNSW ON BEHALF OF MOTORCYCLING AUSTRALIA. INSURANCE COVER UNDER A PERMIT IS LIMITED TO PERMANENT INJURY OR DEATH.

 6.  ALL COMPETITORS SHOULD HAVE AMBULANCE COVER 

 7.  COMPETITION IS HELD IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GENERAL COMPETITION RULES(GCR,S) AS LISTED IN THE MANUAL OF MOTORCYCLE SPORT.
