COVID-19 Operating Procedures (May 2020)

Following discussions with the Police and Service NSW the Club can operate under strict conditions.

This document details the procedures Macarthur District Motorcycle Sportsman club

(MDMSC) will undertake to ensure compliance with NSW COVID-19 Restrictions from Friday 15 May 20. The opening of MDMCS, is purely for the purposes of personal exercise only, (no competition racing is permitted), thus permitting club members to practice and train for motorcycle racing whilst performing personal exercise. The opening of MDMSC is covered under the restricted category of what you can and can't do under the NSW COVID-19 restrictions.

The following rules will be strictly applied and adhered to:

  • Entry is restricted to current club members only. (no new or day memberships)

  • On arrival at entry gate all members are to remain inside their vehicle. Payment is required for riding; touchless payment is preferred (No cash).

  • Entry is restricted to riders only, one parent for junior riders are allowed, No non riding spectators.

  • Limited participant numbers are:

    • 10 riders maximum per disciplined area at any time, (all individual and separate pit and riding areas)

    • 3 x 2hr sessions per day with 40 minutes between sessions to ensure compliant departure/arrival of riders.

    • Please ensure you are ready to leave within the 40 mins break time.

  • Pit and parking areas to be utilised to the maximum so as to greatly exceed the minimum requirement of 4sqm square per rider, parking areas will be divided into two sections, one for those in first group, the second for those arriving for next session,

  • Each parked vehicle is to be parked no closer than 10m to another parked vehicle. This is to ensure that social distancing is met. The only people permitted inside this area are your own family members.

  • No sharing of equipment or machines between riders.

  • Riders must have helmet and gloves on before and after entry/exit from the riding track.

  • Control and monitoring of riders onto and off the track to ensure compliance to distancing guidelines.

  • No grouping of riders, mechanics or parents/guardians allowed.

  • Closure of canteen facilities.


If any breaches of the rules occur as outlined above, physical distancing is not observed, or people who refuse to follow directions of a club official, the club may undertake temporary closure of the track.

Venue responsibilities.

  • Venue to ensure hand sanitiser is available at sign on/entry point, toilets.

  • Venue to ensure regular cleaning and disinfection of toilet facilities.

  • Venue to ensure adequate supply of soap and hand towels in toilet facilities.


Please understand the club is doing its upmost in getting the complex up and running to its fullest potential under the current conditions. Your patience and understanding during these difficult times are appreciated.


How to apply


Due to the very low numbers being allowed entries must be made through the Clubs web site, on a first in basis, payment by Eftpos at the gate. Unfortunately, there will be a lot of disappointed riders.


For the time being the operating sessions are as followed:

  • Saturday, and Sunday. (Gate will be opened at 8.30am)

              Riding times: 9.00 - 11.00, 11.40 - 1.40, 2.00 - 4.00.


Fee per 2-hour session $40.00, this included the additional cost to cover health and medical requirements.


Following tracks will be open: - junior 80cc, Top MX track 125cc and above, Bottom licenced track for 125cc and above MA licence holders.Membership and MA Licences to be current as at 1st March 2020.

Starting in March to save time at the gate 

2020 A Signed indemnity form is required  to ride at the complex 

A digital waiver is linked to you’re membership card and will last for the full period that you hold a valid membership card. As this system is new we ask that you enter you’re details into the wavier accurately to save time at the gate for both yourself and our volunteers. We are asking that our members be patient as we introduce this system and thank you for you’re understanding as we get our volunteers up to speed with this system.

This waiver form is purely for pre-existing members only. If you are looking to become a member of the complex you will still need to sign up in person at the track.

Reminder! A waiver is required too be signed by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to be able to ride at the track.
